Wisefab High-Angle Drift Suspension Kit
The Wisefab high-angle suspension kit is designed for professional drifting and demanding motorsport applications. It delivers more than 65 degrees of steering lock, parallel steering geometry and advanced adjustment options, providing precise control, strong front-end grip and predictable handling throughout the entire steering range.
Over 65 Degrees of Steering Lock
The kit provides more than 65 degrees of steering angle while maintaining controlled and predictable steering behaviour. Its geometry has been developed specifically for high-angle drifting, where conventional suspension components may suffer from insufficient stiffness, limited clearance and undesirable changes in wheel alignment.
Adjustable Ackermann Geometry
The steering geometry can be quickly adjusted towards either positive or negative Ackermann. The adjustment can be carried out within minutes, even at the track, without disturbing the vehicle’s existing wheel alignment.
An Ackermann adjustment kit is included, allowing the steering response to be adapted to the driver’s preferences, vehicle setup and track conditions.
Adjustable Steering Lock Stopper
The integrated adjustable lock stopper allows the maximum steering angle to be set precisely. This helps prevent interference between the wheels, suspension components and bodywork while making it possible to optimise the available steering lock for a specific wheel and tyre configuration.
One-Piece Lower Control Arm
The original lower suspension links are replaced with a rigid one-piece lower control arm. At higher steering angles, conventional multi-link systems may create stiffness and packaging issues. The one-piece design improves rigidity, increases available clearance and simplifies caster adjustment.
Caster can be adjusted easily, allowing the suspension geometry and steering response to be tuned according to the driver’s requirements.
Increased Front Roll Centre
The Wisefab steering knuckles feature repositioned suspension joints that raise the front roll centre on lowered vehicles. This increases roll stiffness and improves front-end response during rapid direction changes.
The revised geometry may also allow the front anti-roll bar to be removed. This is especially beneficial in high-angle drift applications, where packaging an anti-roll bar around the steering and suspension components can be difficult.
Optimised Camber Control and Minimal Bump Steer
In drift vehicles, dynamic camber and bump steer are significantly more important than static alignment values. The Wisefab suspension kinematics are designed to maintain favourable camber characteristics throughout the suspension travel and steering range.
This helps the front tyres retain a stable contact patch, providing strong front-end grip during cornering and drifting. Bump steer is kept to a minimum across the entire steering range, improving stability and steering precision.
Controlled Steering Jacking
At extreme steering angles, steering jacking becomes considerably more pronounced and may negatively affect handling. The Wisefab geometry has been developed to control this effect and prevent unwanted vehicle movement or unpredictable changes in balance during drifting.
Predictable Self-Alignment Torque
Caster alone is not sufficient to generate consistent self-alignment torque, particularly at very high steering angles. The Wisefab system combines several suspension and steering geometry parameters to maintain consistent mechanical trail and reliable steering return.
As a result, the steering wheel naturally follows the vehicle’s direction of movement and does not become stuck at full lock. This provides predictable self-steering behaviour and gives the driver greater confidence during transitions and extended high-angle drifts.

Additional Components and Installation Requirements
Please note the following compatibility and installation requirements:
- Wheel bearings and wheel hubs from BMW E9X models are required
- The kit uses the BMW 5x120 wheel bolt pattern
- Brake callipers and brake discs from BMW E9X or BMW F-Series models are required
- Coilover suspension is required to provide sufficient clearance
- Depending on wheel width and offset, wider front fenders or fender flares may be necessary
- Minimum compatible wheel diameter: 18 inches
