The Coolerworx Naked NSB Short Shifter for Renault Clio RS III was developed for Clio RS197 and RS200 owners who want the characteristic Coolerworx mechanical shifting feel in a simpler and more accessible package. It retains the core engineering principles of the NSB series while using the vehicle’s standard shifter cables.
The Naked NSB version connects directly to the OEM gear selector cables. No additional cables or modifications are required for installation. During development, the factory cables proved capable of operating all gears reliably, making this version particularly suitable for road cars and drivers looking for a straightforward plug-and-play upgrade.
The shifter is finished in raw aluminium without anodizing. The exposed surface and visible machining marks create the characteristic Naked Series appearance, emphasizing the mechanical construction rather than hiding it beneath decorative finishes.
Despite its simplified specification, the essential NSB design philosophy remains unchanged. The mechanism provides precise mechanical gear engagement, strong aluminium construction and clean fitment beneath the original interior plastics.
