The Coolerworx Classic Pro Short Shifter for Infiniti G35 and G37 is a chassis-mounted performance shifting system developed to provide a more rigid, direct and precise gear change than the factory setup. By reducing shift throw by up to 40%, it delivers faster engagement and a more mechanical driving feel.
Mounting the shifter directly to the chassis significantly reduces unwanted movement and play compared with the OEM mechanism. This improves the connection between the driver and gearbox and makes each gear change feel firmer and more controlled.
The PRO version features an integrated self-centering spring, which keeps the lever reliably aligned in the central position even under hard braking and fast cornering. This helps maintain consistent lever positioning and improves precision during rapid gear changes.
An adjustable gear lock-out system for Reverse, 1/2 and 5/6 is also included. Screw-type stops allow accurate adjustment, while a cable-operated pull-up collar releases the lock-out smoothly when required.
