The Coolerworx NSB Short Shifter for Fiat 500 Abarth is a completely redesigned shifting system developed specifically for the limited space available under the factory center-console trim. Unlike many aftermarket solutions, it has been engineered to fit beneath the original Fiat 500 Abarth interior components without requiring major cutting or permanent modification.
The NSB design was developed through several years of testing and multiple prototype stages. Separate solutions were created for pre-facelift and facelift versions due to differences in the center console, allowing the mechanism to be matched more precisely to each interior layout.
A key feature of this version is the removable carbon shaft system. The carbon sleeve can be removed when changing the shift knob or retained for a more motorsport-inspired appearance. This modular handle design is specific to the Coolerworx NSB series and combines visual customization with practical functionality.
