BILT-HAMBER Korrosol 5L – Iron Fallout Remover for Paintwork and Wheels
BILT-HAMBER Korrosol is an easy-to-use, acid-free and alkali-free decontamination cleaner designed to safely remove embedded metallic contamination from automotive paintwork and wheels.
Metallic and industrial fallout such as brake dust, iron particles and contamination from railway tracks or industrial environments can become embedded in the vehicle’s surface. When exposed to moisture and rain, these particles may begin to corrode, affecting both the appearance of the paintwork and its protective properties.
Korrosol reacts directly with ferrous contamination. During the reaction, the product changes colour to a characteristic deep red, helping to indicate where metallic particles are being dissolved. After rinsing, the treated surface is left clean and free from embedded iron contamination that could otherwise contribute to corrosion.
The formula is suitable for use on all exterior vehicle bodywork surfaces and wheels, making it ideal for regular detailing, deep cleaning and paint preparation before polishing, waxing or applying protective coatings.

Directions for Use
Use only on cool surfaces and in a shaded area. Do not allow the product to dry on the treated surface.
- Spray Korrosol evenly onto the contaminated surface.
- Leave for several minutes to allow the product to react with and dissolve metallic particles.
- As the product reacts with iron contamination, it will change colour to red.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
