The Athena Cut Ring Racing Head Gasket is the result of continuous research and development to meet the increasing demands for higher performance, maximum sealing, and resistance to extreme thermal and mechanical stress typical of motorsports and drag racing. Specifically designed for the left side of Chevrolet LSX engines, this gasket features a thickness of 1.50 mm and a bore diameter of 105.40 mm.

Cut Ring Technology: Combines excellent high-pressure sealing with separate recessed rings, known as Cooper Rings, eliminating the need for irreversible engine block modifications to accommodate ring seats.

Reinforced Motorgasket Body: Manufactured from Motorgasket, a reinforced material developed by the Athena R&D Department, consisting of a steel core covered with two layers of asbestos-free aramid fibre. This construction provides excellent thermal and mechanical resistance while maintaining adaptability to cylinder head and block mating surfaces.

Silicone Beading: Applied to critical sealing areas such as oil and coolant passages to ensure maximum sealing reliability under all operating conditions.

Stainless Steel Cut Ring Support Rings (AISI 304): Provide maximum sealing around the cylinder bores without compression loss, even in extreme applications involving NOS and/or turbocharged engines with boost pressures exceeding 2 bar.
