The FMIC.EU silicone intercooler hose kit in the upgrade version is designed for VAG vehicles with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI engines that use aftermarket/tuning intercoolers with enlarged outlets.
This is the key difference compared to OEM kits – the set is intended for intercoolers with larger outlet diameters, where the factory 60 mm hoses do not fit or become a restriction.

The multi-layer construction with 4-ply reinforcement provides high stiffness and resistance to temperature, pressure, and oil vapors. As a result, the kit remains leak-tight at increased boost, improves system reliability, and supports stable airflow through the intercooler in modified vehicles.
