Purelux Panther Aero C1050 is an aerodynamically shaped LED light bar and the latest addition to the slim Panther Aero product family. This LED bar combines modern design with an excellent size-to-output ratio, placing it among the best single-row LED light bars available. Externally, the bar features a discreet and stylish appearance thanks to its dark optics, low-profile construction, frameless lens and dual-colour position light (amber or white). Inside, however, it delivers impressive performance for its size.

The Aero C1050 features two different power modes: a road-approved limited output mode and the powerful Purelux PowerBoost® mode, which unleashes the full performance of the light bar, delivering a measured output of 16,984 lumens with a measured range of 469 metres at 1 lux.

Unlike conventional solutions, no additional wiring is required to switch between power modes. Switching between PowerBoost® and road mode is easily done by pressing the button located at the end of the light. The previously selected power mode is stored in the light’s memory, ensuring that the light does not automatically activate at full power after restarting the vehicle.

Note: The difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road mode is clearly noticeable. PowerBoost® mode is significantly more powerful and must not be used in public road traffic, only off-road.

The beam pattern of the Panther Aero C1050 consists of a wide rectangular main beam that offers an ideal balance between range and width. Thanks to the curved design, the beam distributes light broadly to the sides, effectively illuminating road shoulders, ditches and forest edges directly in front of the vehicle. Vertically, the beam is softly controlled, making it particularly suitable for bumper installations. Despite the limited vertical height, there is still sufficient light for hilly terrain and roof-mounted applications.

The difference between curved and straight Panther models lies in the beam pattern: both versions illuminate the road from side to side effectively, but in the curved model the main beam is approximately 50% wider and slightly more limited vertically than in the straight version. As a result, the curved model offers a wider effective illuminated area, while the straight model maximises forward reach. If the widest possible beam pattern is required, the curved version is the optimal choice, whereas the straight version is better suited when longer range is prioritised. Due to its flatter beam shape at the top and bottom, the curved model is also slightly better suited for very low installations.

In addition to its precisely refined beam pattern, the Panther Aero C1050 features a neutral 5000K colour temperature that significantly improves driving comfort. The neutral colour temperature enhances contrast, makes it easier to identify terrain shapes and obstacles, does not distort object colours, reduces glare from snow, fog and rain, and helps minimise eye strain. The 5000K colour temperature also matches modern LED and xenon headlights perfectly while providing excellent clarity alongside traditional halogen lights.

The aerodynamics of the Panther Aero C1050, combined with its stylish black profile, dark optics and beautifully integrated amber or white position light, give the light bar a refined and modern appearance. In addition to excellent visibility and lighting performance, the light is built for durability, as evidenced by its highest possible IP69K protection rating. The housing is made from powder-coated aluminium with a special coating that provides excellent resistance to corrosion, UV radiation, harsh weather conditions and dirt. The impact-resistant Lexa polycarbonate lens withstands stone impacts and branch scratches encountered during driving. The completely flat front design prevents the accumulation of snow, ice or dirt on the lens.

The light is supplied with both traditional side mounting brackets and adjustable-width rail brackets mounted underneath the light, allowing for flexible installation on various vehicles and mounting surfaces. The exceptionally low-profile design enables installation even in tight mounting spaces, while the wide operating voltage range (9–36 V) allows connection to both 12 V and 24 V systems.
