Purelux Panther C540 is a curved LED light bar designed specifically for passenger cars, combining stylish looks, huge output and a wide beam pattern. The light has two different power modes, allowing you to use either a more moderate road-legal mode or PowerBoost®, which unleashes the full light output up to 16,332 lumens in front of the vehicle and extends the range to 607 metres (@ 1 lux). The power mode can be changed easily by pressing the button on the housing, so no complicated wiring is required.

Unlike conventional solutions, you don’t need to connect or disconnect any extra wire to activate the different power modes. Switching between PowerBoost® and road mode is uniquely easy via the button at the end of the light. The last used power mode remains stored in the light’s “memory”, so there’s no need to worry, for example in road traffic, that the light would always start in maximum mode after the power has been switched off in between and the vehicle moves again.

Note! You can clearly see the difference between Purelux PowerBoost® and road mode – PowerBoost is significantly more powerful and must not be used in normal road traffic, only off-road.

The Panther C540 beam consists of a rectangular wide main beam that provides an ideal balance of distance and width. Thanks to the curved design, the bar spreads light far to the sides, effectively illuminating verges, ditches and forest edges directly in front of the vehicle. Vertically, the beam is softly limited, meaning there is plenty of light even for hilly terrain, but it is not wasted into the sky and no overly bright “light ball” is created in front of the vehicle. Beam height is optimised to be sufficient even for hilly driving and for roof installations on heavy equipment.

The difference between the curved and straight Panther can be seen in beam width: both illuminate the road from side to side, but the curved housing opens the main beam wider than the straight model, maximising width, while the straight bar offers maximum reach. In the curved bar, the main beam in the centre is about 50% wider than in the straight version, so the difference isn’t huge, but if the goal is the widest possible beam pattern, the curved version is the right choice. If, on the other hand, you want slightly more distance, the straight version is the better option. When choosing between the two, installation location also matters – if the light is mounted on the front of the vehicle, choose the version that best matches the vehicle’s design.

In addition to the precisely finished beam pattern, the neutral 5000K colour temperature greatly improves driving comfort. It enhances visibility of terrain shapes and obstacles without distorting colours, causes less glare from snow cover and performs better in rain and fog, while also reducing eye strain. The 5000K colour temperature also matches newer vehicles with OEM LED or xenon headlights and provides the desired brightness and sharpness even alongside traditional halogen lights.

Panther C540 is an auxiliary light developed for harsh conditions, confidently recommended even for the most demanding use. With its versatile size, it’s ideal for mounting on the front of passenger cars, vans and SUVs. It also suits heavy equipment, as the universal size allows a very clean and attractive multi-light setup, for example on the roof using two or more lamps. With PowerBoost mode, Purelux Panther C540 is also a safe choice for closed tracks or vehicles used exclusively off-road.

Beyond its excellent lighting performance, Panther C540 is built to withstand environmental stress. This is proven by, for example, the highest possible protection rating IP69K, a virtually indestructible Lexa polycarbonate lens, a strong aluminium housing and a special coating that ensures outstanding resistance to UV radiation, corrosion, chemicals and changing weather. The coating also gives the housing a subtle glossy finish that reflects quality and style. The overall look is completed by black mounting bolts and dark optics, which have also been incorporated into the position light in a modern way to ensure elegance even when the bar is switched off.
