The FMIC.Pro intake manifold for the 2JZ-GTE engine is a welded aluminum construction featuring a modular, bolted design.
The air chamber (plenum), runner section, and flange are separate components connected with bolts, allowing disassembly, servicing, and modifications depending on the engine and turbo setup.
The housing is made from high-quality aluminum, precisely welded and CNC-machined to ensure structural rigidity and resistance to high boost pressure and operating temperatures. This solution is ideal for high-horsepower applications, including big turbo setups.
The geometry of the intake runners (velocity stacks) and plenum has been developed using CFD analysis. The goal was to achieve even air distribution to all cylinders, reduce pressure drops, and improve airflow efficiency under high engine load.
Individually bolted velocity stacks support stable and controlled airflow, resulting in more consistent cylinder filling and better utilization of the turbocharging system.
The manifold is designed for increased power 2JZ-GTE builds, suitable for both street and motorsport applications.
