This intake kit mounts to 3.2 Audi A3. The filter is a high-flow cone made of unoiled cotton gauze, placed in a carbon fiber composite shell that connects directly to the air inlet at the front of the vehicle with a specific air inlet nozzle. All elements are connected with high-quality silicone fittings. The system creates an air intake that only allows cold air from outside the vehicle to enter the engine, and blocks the already warm air. Forge has carried out tests on this kit, and has measured gains of up to 10 additional hp compared to the standard airbox and filter, on Stage 2 pre-tuned vehicles. Even if the power gains can vary greatly from one car to another, this kit certainly offers a significant improvement over the original airbox.
