The FMIC.EU water pump spacer kit has been designed for professional GM LS Gen III and Gen IV engine swaps where an LS1-style car water pump (Camaro / GTO) is used on engines based on General Motors LS blocks.
The spacers ensure correct accessory belt alignment, which is critical for reliable engine operation. Without proper spacing, the LS1 water pump does not align correctly with accessory drives used on engines from other GM platforms — this kit eliminates that issue.
An additional benefit is easier installation of low-profile intake manifolds, improved coolant hose routing, and a cleaner engine bay layout.
The integrated steam port allows proper bleeding of the cooling system, which is especially important in LS engines where trapped air in the cylinder heads can lead to localized overheating.
