Thermocouple Converter (TCC01) with Receptacle

The TCC01 is a so-called ""Thermocouple Amplifier"" – a device that amplifies and converts the signal from a Type K sensor – our simple Thermocouple Converter.

With our TCC01, you can easily connect your exhaust gas temperature sensor, for example:

Insert the Type-K probe on one side into the converter, and on the other side, use the DTM plug for power supply via 5V, ground, and the signal for your control unit or data display.

Any device that has an analog input for 0-5V signals can be used as a receiver – e.g.:

But the Type K converter can be used not only for exhaust temperatures but also for liquids (1mm thermocouples) and gases (0.5mm thermocouples).

• Calibration: 0V = 0°C (32°F) and 5V = 1000°C (1832°F)
• Maximum accuracy: 2% deviation

Installation

Installing the Thermocouple Converter TCC01 (Thermocouple Amplifier) is straightforward. It should be placed in a dry and not too hot location, such as behind the firewall.

You can use the integrated tab for attachment. Thanks to the special design, it's possible to attach multiple TCC01 modules side by side. For maximum stability, you can attach the included tab with adhesive to the TCC01 module.

Our displays are preconfigured for connecting the TCC01. Simply connect the signal to AIN2.

Multiple TCC01 Modules

Often, you may need two or more modules, such as in the case of twin-scroll turbocharger manifolds. Here, you can easily stack the modules together.

Of course, when using multiple Type-K probes, you can also opt for our TCCXX series and directly write the measurements to the Can Bus. These are available as TCC04, TCC06, TCC08, and TCC10.
