Leather Colourant Black

Leather Colourant was created on the basis of watery substances with excellent covering properties. It is dedicated for restoration or change the colour of any leather item. After using Leather Colourant the leather has a soft and delicate touch.

Leather Colourant is designed for painting any leather item: car upholstery, leather furniture, shoes, and handbags. Use Leather Colourant for natural leather as well as faux leather. Do not use on suede and nubuck.

How to use?

1. Make sure that the leather is well cleaned. You can use Leather Cleaner to clean. Use the Leather Preparer and the towel or any cotton cloth to partially remove the old paint. It will increase adhesion to the new coating.
2. Use a Leather Alcohol Cleaner to degrease the leather surface and remove any residues of dissolved paint.
3. Apply the first layer of Leather Colorant with a sponge in a circular motion. The subsequent layers should be applied with a sponge or a spray gun. Each layer should be completely dry. Apply 3-4 thin layers. You can dry by hairdryer every

Tips:

To paint spraying you can use a nozzle 0,8mm – 1mm. Colourants have various densities because of different kinds of pigments. When you use smaller nozzles it is possible to add 10% distilled weather.
